First steps

Congratulations on your new SIMPLEX 3D filament printer. The uncomplicated entry into professional dental 3D filament printing.

For a successful installation and commissioning of the SIMPLEX please download the software and follow each of the steps below.

The SIMPLEX 3D filament printer system not only includes the 3D filament printer.

With the SIMPLEX you also get the dental specific SIMPLEX sliceware, with which you can prepare your STL files easily and safely, thanks to pre-installed presets, for filament printing.

The SIMPLEX print software, with which you can access the SIMPLEX printer from your PC and start, pause and stop a print job.

Please download the software using the red button shown above and install the 2 software files stored in the zip file on your PC.

Before commissioning, please level the print bed and calibrate the FMS system this is explained in the the sections below.

SIMPLEX model isolation

SIMPLEX model isolation* is a model separating agent that is adapted for use with 3D printed models. With the ready to use separating agent, orthodontic appliances can be easily fabricated from dental resin on the printed model. An even, ultra-fine film of isolating agent is applied on the surface of the model using a brush. This results in a clear separation between the model and the dental resin. After polymerization, the workpiece can be easily removed from the model, maintaining all surface details.
